Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
If I actually sleep more than 6 hours my body is so stiff I can't get out of bed.
The doctor gave me a soft sock brace for my knee while I'm sleeping and it helps a tad.
If I sleep for more than 2 hours at a time, my arms fall asleep and my hips hurt... I have to move multiple times a night.

If any of you use melatonin, vary your dose. Like 5mg one day and 10 the next. It will be more effective. Also please don't use it for longer than 2 weeks. It genuinely signals your brain to stop producing sleep endorphins.

But @ESABOE is going to be happy - I have an appointment for Monday to check my back.

I use Calm (Calcium and Magnesium) whenever I feel extra agitated. Occasional restless leg flare ups.

Good stuff!!
Me and my wife too.

There is medication that will take care of both. It's nothing scary either.
I only have to use it every couple of months. Most nights I fall asleep shaking my legs and I'm fine.

Adding a D3 supplement might really help too.
We take Cal, Mag, Zinc, D3, C, and liver semi regularly. I also live in "The Valley of the Sun" so I get plenty of natural sunlight.

I probably need to be more regular on taking supplements though.

He strikes me as a buffet kinda guy. When he gets the love back it's going to be a bite of seared medium rare ribeye perfectly seasoned and a dollop of fresh horseradish, a bite of bacon crusted roasted brussel sprouts, a bite of sweet potato with cinnamon, brown sugar, and just the right amount of marshmallows, a small cob of sweet corn with salted sweet cream butter (and a small slather of mayo if he's really wanting a treat!), some perfectly crispy orange chicken on a bed of pork fried rice, a maple honey glazed pork butt (or shoulder could work), and a PILE of tacos - Barbacoa, pastor, carnitas, grilled chicken, and fajita steak. Then, he'll end with a gooey chocolate brownie ala mode and a small slice of sweet potato pie covered in whipped cream.
We really need a drooling emoji.

I enjoy some, but not a fan of avocado or cucumber which is 80% of the sushi out there.
I prefer mine to be cooked. I don't like the texture of raw fish.

liquid AB plus may be adding to your GHA issue..it has mixed reviews as do most stuff. I used it in my old 140 for maybe a month and threw it away. May have been a contributing factor to red alage.. I switched to Brightwell Restore, and other products Brightwell makes. Saw a 180 turn around in the 140 and when upgraded to 300. All I use...I would say switch to feeding mysis, pellets and hold off on liguid until you get gha under control...And if you want to then go back to AB plus, use half the dose your doing now, and I would dose half of the half dose twice a week so that your not over doing it with nutrients all at once, thus having extra in your water column for algae to use...oh i need moe coffee.
Ok. I might switch to the brightwell restore

ok ducan can send stingers 6 inches or more...so that may be a part of the equation why the hammer is closed. I hope you know I am just sharing what others have taught me...playing it forward...
Maybe but I have never seen the Duncan do that. I have only seen the hammer send big stingers
