Since my diet I'm off of tacos unfortunately but I'm thinking the Tabasco qualifies as a taco Tuesday entry !

I had two sweet pork barbacoa tacos "naked" with some enchilada sauce, rice, and black beans for lunch today. Chased it with a Prickly Pear agua fresca.

Ok, I jokingly rib you about coffee, but that statement, while it made absolutely no sense to me, shows a knowledge and interest beyond the average coffee drinker.
It's cool to me when people really get into their hobbies and "nerd out" a bit about them.
You sound like me talking about vinyl records lol. There's the basic information. Then there's the John version. Lol

Yeah, I used to stand outside on the weekends roasting raw coffee beans in a popcorn popper. Listen for the first crack (think "snap" like a Rice Crispy), then keep watching as the chaff blows away and listen for the second crack (another distinct sound - very much a crack sound) and make sure the oils are just starting to emerge from the bean and it should have a nice medium to medium dark color. Third crack starts really releasing the oils from the bean and literally sounds like a "pop". After third crack you have to watch very closely for the Italian roast or espresso roast. Go too far and you have a Starbucks roast - aka Coffee Charcoal.

I usually like to use my Nespresso Vertuo as I’m big on espresso. It pulls some crazy delicious shots for an instant coffee machine.

@luis angel has one of those and I'm always so jealous of it! Lol

I'm also a Nespresso fan, but I've had the Nespresso Lattissima Touch with me since 2019 or so. It works like the first day.

Well, now it makes perfect sense! Im sure you could make some really fine coffees doing it yourself. You know exactly what you like, and then there's the fun in doing it. I bet it smells great while your roasting them, too. Very cool

It smells like walking down the coffee aisle at Sprouts while eating a Dove Milk Chocolate bar. That's about as close as I can get to describing the smell.
