Good morning.
I made around 20 gallons last night. I'll mix later today after football.
Great, you don't need to know the exact amount of water to mix because you adjust that with the salt, but you do need to know how much you made to know how much to take from the tank. I have a trash can that I marked on the outside with a 10 and 15 gallon mark depending on how much I want to change, or sometimes I make the water in a 5-gallon bucket and then pour it into the trash can.

Is it ok for me to leave RO/DI in the can for 4 days?
No problem, it's best to leave it like that and mix it when you need it.

Yep I have a 17.5 gallon mark.

Good morning and Happy Friday, everyone!

Super busy day yesterday, had to finally move all the stuff out of our apartment and into our new house. went nonstop from 1:00-9:00 pm. Needless to say, I was worn out yesterday, but glad to have it done. Now to help do some behind-the-scenes partner drive stuff today, move some more fragile stuff out of our apartment (our tv's etc...) sell some furniture on Facebook, and attempt to fix up some holes in the apartment as our landlord said we would get the down deposit back if the house wasn't a total mess. I may be a little inactive today, but I will pop on throughout the day whenever I get the chance!

Did you know that we all have different perspectives on what we see? Shocker, I know. Let's take a movie, for example. To one person, it might be this gut-wrenching movie about a dog being reunited with its owner. For another person, it might just be another boring dog movie. This same analogy applies to world situations. We see someone homeless, some might just stick their nose at them and say they are in that situation because they are active drug users. While another person might see that person as someone who was a veteran, dealt with sevear ptsd and is now homeless because of it. Our perspective changes how we see life around us. Let's try today to have a positive perspective and not cast judgment on others and situations when we might not know the full picture.

Here are the new corals. The hammer is small, but appears to be a true orange.

The "pink" goni isn't as pink in person as it appears in the picture, but for the price, that's a nice healthy little colony. Maybe it'll brighten up as I move it up in the tank after lights acclimation.

Basic bali slimer. Appears healthy and polyps are extending. I just needed a little pop of green on my rock work.

Those look nice and healthy!

funny thing, when my wife moved out of her apartment, the landlord told her to just fill up any holes in the wall from pictures etc....with "tooth paste".

and don't forget to shut the ATO off before you start draining.
