Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Maybe not that quick but it's more than plenty for a fairly quick heat up.

Lost my female clown today.. 10 years old.. woke up and both eyes blind and all cut up from swimming into stuff.. had to put her down.. now the little male is still guarding their last clutch of eggs.. sad.

Whats the consensus? While hes attached to those eggs and guarding them, he might be easy to catch. Do i catch him and put him as my sole clown in the biocube? Or get him a new girlfriend/boyfriend for the 120? I been considering a single or maybe a pair of clowns in the biocube, but I wanted something unique. Like maybe a clarkii or something similar. So if he goes to the biocube, the 120g is free game as far as clowns, but im also worried whether he'll be too settled in and aggressive to give him a new mate.

ahh im sorry. hate that
Yea, I was convinced she'd recover yesterday. She seemed to come to the front and started swimming a lot better. Went back to her man, and then woke up and she was in the same spot she was "stuck in" the other day. Which by how easy it was to get her out, I dont think she got stuck, she just found a good spot to rest while she passed. Really bummed. Ecspecially because I had to catch her and euthanize her myself after I spooked her from her spot and she was frantically swimming and hitting stuff and struggling to breath. Hate it.

Two against one . I see
More like millions against one. I think most everyone would agree. Im an Ole Miss fan though, we have our own crisis right now unfortunately 🤦‍♂️

Man that is sad that she died. I felt the same way when my all my fish died that day. My advice is dont settle. You never want to lose fish, but this unfortunately has happened. Use it to get exactly what you want for both tanks Mike

I think it would work if you get one considerably larger or smaller. Sorry to hear about the female. 😢

My youngest son is a Buckeyes fan but Ole Miss is his in the SEC, mine is Vanderbilt, kinda went for an underdog from a school my brother went to. No longer an underdog these past couple years. Great game for Vandy yesterday.

My oldest son was getting baby nassarius snails out of my tank, about a dozen, last night and knocked my candycane over. I remounted it and like how I have it a lot better. You can see the other one from the front not just the side.
