Not sure if it’s liver sponge , when I initially got this it took out a couple of expensive coral . Not sure it’s one that’s all that good for the tank . Now I make sure when it comes back to get it out before it become a problem . I just hate always looking for it and the removing it

I’ve tried that . What I’ve been doing is replacing the rock from time to time and even blew a air stone in the tank through the power heads for days . The thing is is that it’s goes away for a while and I find it creeping some where else . A rock or the glass . Is there something I can treat it for something else that might kill it . Been dealing with this for about a year and tired of constant looking to see if it’s somewhere . Hard when it get into the glass or into the stone as it will take out the coral when it’s takes over . I just hate the idea to rehouse the fish and coral to break down the main tank . There is no guaranty that the spores could be in the coral that I have .

Thats a fine sip. Ive been enjoying a Weller 12 year bourbon that my coworkers gave me. Excellent stuff

Ive been through a lot of them and most recently the macallan 12 yr . I had a Alexander Murray & Sons single malt 17 yrs highland and unfortunately it wasn’t a big lot and now I cant find it anywhere . That was a good blend

Sponges grow from spores. I believe they lie dormant for a long time and show up when the conditions are right.

Some are good, others are good if they stay in a cryptic zone. I've had a red sponge and a yellow sponge grow and poison corals nearby. I currently have a green or yellow that stays small and looks like a little ball that is good so I leave it be. I also have a Black Liver Sponge that is not doing well right now that I transferred from my old tank.

Ooh I bet it was. Highlands are my favorite Scotches. I haven't had a ton of them though.

I agree . I wouldn’t mind having any other type but this black sponge of mine is a curse . a slow moving curse .

Lol, I do my best to make it a decent work environment. You're right though, I was kinda shocked.
