I think you should use something else to increase your levels, because that dose is already too high ( in my opinion ) There's a product that's crystallized magnesium ( maybe seachem ) that you mix with RO water and it works well, but I don't remember the brand. I used it once and my levels increased in a couple of days.

Anyway, you already have the product, you can increase the dose but do it in several doses throughout the day so it's not all at once. You can still dose every 2 days but increase the amount and divide it into 4 or 5 doses per day.

Omg…peer pressure reminds me of a place I worked and a coworker asked for pear support. I kept it in but rolled with it. I kept going back and forth with pear. Our boss was on the emails and got so mad eventually saying it’s peer. And I was almost getting ready to work pair in there next.

I have some bad news... I am pretty sure my radiant has UNWD :( ugh, it still wants to eat when i feed but its having all the issues described there

No I don't think so. I put him in an acclimation box but its not strong enough to hold sand. I am hoping maybe it could be him just getting used to the current but what I saw was not a good sign. All the other fish are fine. There is practically zero Ammonia and zero Nitrate in the tank as well. Sad

I haven't owned any wrasses other than the six line so never knew about it. Interesting I'll take a look at the thread. Thanks!

I just finished testing and here are the results from my last three. I dosed 50ml Calcium for the first time yesterday and according to the instructions should dose twice a week so I plan to dose again Saturday, or do you guys think I should do it more than twice a week? I have been dosing 37ml Magnesium every other day is that enough?

Just follow what the bottle says, and dont over do it. The product should tell you how much and how often to dose.

Those are great numbers. .03 phosphate regularly? Get that magnesium up and you've got acro growing water lol.

This is a video of my Naoko's wrasse. He had the condition. He still tried to eat and swim. It's sad to watch honestly.

Is this the Radiant?

Sadly they dont recover from this. I couldn't watch it anymore, and euthanized the fish after it couldn't swim up off the sandbed anymore. It took less than a week for it to get to that point.

I'm so sorry to hear that Thomas.

I found out about the condition right after I acquired the Pintail and I keep watching for signs of it. So far so good but I panic a little if it even swims with its tail lowered at all. The fish has quickly become a favorite.
