It happens I was surprised it took to it immediately... not even a minute after but I've had a Sailfin that was terrified of the clip and took a month for it to warm up to it and finally start eating Nori.

It seems to be fairly common but they eventually figure it out. Mine didn't touch it for about two weeks. Now, whenever the Nori pouch is empty for too long it goes over and pokes it then swims up and down in the corner near the pouch to let us know it needs Nori.

How long do you guys leave it in the tank? Maybe I'm taking it out too soon.

When I had the Sailfin I would leave it in there until it started to get too soft and falling apart, haven't tried yet with the Foxface, I only put in like a 2x2 square and it obliterated the whole thing in 10 minutes lol.

Strange my yellow tang and my cleaner wrasse ( believe it or not) are the only ones. My tomini and angel ignore it.

This little guys been like this with the polyps in since I put the new light on the tank Saturday. Do you think I should move it to a less light area or do you think it will adjust? All the other corals are happy.

Looks like Devils hand leather... my leathers can be finicky, even making a change in light intensity makes them mad for a little while and even go into shedding mode but they can certainly adapt to high light. Hard to tell from the photo but is it forming a shiny sheen on the surface?

Nope I have a devils hand and it's different let me see if I can remember where I ordered it from and I will look back at the invoice.

Ya if it's not a finger leather, devils hand frag, not sure because it doesn't look like a toadstool unless it's two tiny frags of it on one base...

I believe its a toadstool.

It's an odd ball for sure like two of them on one plug but kind of attached at the base lol
