Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
He's lovely! And I wouldn't worry about not seeing him eat especially since you added pods when you put him in the tank.
Thank you! He has a very intricate color pattern. I love it.
I think you're right, ill just give him a couple days to get used to the tank before I start worrying lol

Really!? So you just try to drip it in where it kind of stays in "strands" for him to eat?
Nah, I just dropped a tablespoon into the high flow area and fed the tank.

My boy likes small food then! I was hoping he'd go for the fish eggs. Tomorrow I'll definitely try oyster feast and some white worms

I got a flame angel in the 300 and she doesn't bother any corals..sps or lps or even mushrooms...

They're all a little different aren't they.

Any tips on how to keep them from wanting to snack on corals?
The common method is making sure they are well fed, mine eats 4 times a day, LRS Reef Frenzy/Herbivore, Mysis, Flakes x2, and Angel Formula that has sponge in there for Angels and various other things mixed in and still makes no difference lol. She's nice and chubby but ya.

So far the Leopard Wrasse has turned down fish eggs, brine shrimp, and pellets. Im hoping he'll come around as he settles in. I also added a bottle of pods when I put him in the tank, so he may have gorged all night.

Anyways, here's a video of him swimming around to a Hawkwind song.
Hilarious

Such a beauty! Hoping he starts taking in the food, Mysis with a drop of garlic extract usually does the trick for me if you get desperate enough lol.

Great idea on the garlic if he doesn't start eating soon. I definitely appreciate that tip. He is an awesome fish. He has some of that typical wrasse behavior, but he's a very unique guy. I have to believe that he's not too picky of an eater at the size he is. I usually don't buy full-sized fish, but this one called to me lol

Hey crussso kid..hope you are doing well!!!!!
Thanks, I'm hanging in and holding fast.

thinking of what to design in the two chambers of the 3 chambers of the overflow box
36x24x6 deep water will go into the middle box under the two black chamber wall seperators
three 1 1/2 pipes ...thinking of making acylic box to make it easy to put in and take out of the right and left chambers..
maybe siporex or small bio balls out of the water with a foam prefilter and felt

I have some ideas about the media caddies you are thinking about. However, it's 4:13AM here, right now, and I am going to lay down for a little while. Upon rising, I'll DM you if I remember and if you're lucky. HA!

@Rocks reef - I saw you asked a question but no one answered. So, what model iPhone do you use when taking pictures?
