Im just surprised! I knew you guys had polenta I thought it was a southern US thing. If you go north of the Virginia's and ask for grits, they look at you like you're an alien. Lol

your right about the Italian name..but grits for body building pre work out is very good...easy to digest fast simple carb

Open it all the way, i'm assuming when you screw that down your closing the air opening. Hard to tell from that setup though, looks like a silencer of some sort

Not sure why its like that for you. Basically the skimmer over flowing.

If that works and water level comes down, let it run for a while like that and slowly increase the speed of the pump and adjust the water output pipe until you get the bubbles just below the neck of the skimmer.

hmm. never saw a valve on a silencer before. are you sure it is not just a cap..
air silencers still make noise since it is drawing in air to the skimmer...
If you want to make it 100% quite you should run that air intake hose to a CO2 scrubber to help raise PH and will make it dead silent..
CO2 scrubber easy to make out of a reactor and color changing media..
If it does not have a hose connected to the silencer add one to one port, close off all the others and run to a CO2 scrubber.

Oh and wait about 30 minutes between adjustments, sometimes it takes a little bit of time to settle after each change.

Oh man I was raised on grits. That's a staple where I grew up! It's delicious for breakfast with a couple pieces of bacon, a fried egg and some sliced tomatoes!

Cream of Wheat for me. With a little brown sugar and butter.

Now though, a nice bowl of grits with some blackberry jam is my preference!

I’ve gotten creamy grits with shrimp and grits in Cleveland! They were fantastic but I have nothing else to compare them to.
