Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Someone in a reefing Facebook group I'm in asked if I had a grounder for my tank but I have no idea what they meant other than i think its for if something is sending electricity into the tank? Can anyone explain this in really simple terms to me? Is it a device I buy or something my husband could do?

I assume they mean a grounding probe. They are commercially available. It is a probe, usually titanium that can be added to a reef tank and connected to an earth ground or a grounded outlet. The idea is to provide a low resistance path to ground for any stray voltage in a tank. As it is low resistance electricity would choose that path rather than some other, for instance a person working on the tank.

So something like this plugged into a GFCI outlet?

Sorry I took some pics that I thought were cool. Tropicana and Goldenrod Anacropora are looking good.

We went to our old parish in Vancouver, WA to fundraise for the school's spring dinner theater/silver raffle. We went to a Thai restaurant in Canby, OR on the way home and stopped at this business afterward. My young boys didn't want to leave. My youngest son said , "I wish we lived here!"

I went to a huge Lego store in I think Orlando once they had huge Lego animal figures outside.

Amphipod is something I need to add.
There is a good chance you have amphipods already in your tank. Pick up a rock and take a really good look at it. See if you see any tiny critters that kind of resemble shrimp.

Oh I do have those!!! I seen one today when I switched out the filter cup floss! I just thought those were really big copepods 😆
