Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
240 and above is my recommendation.
You probably have 120 gallons total water after rocks, decor blah blah blah. :upside-down-face:
Thank you when you said take the amount of water and cut it in half that's where I was confused.

If Amanda can fit a 300 in there go for it!!
That's what I would do. ;)
Me too, I really really loved my oversized skimmer!

I confuse myself most of the time only Kevin really understands me and that's confusing. :upside-down-face:

That sounds like me and my coworker we understand what each other is trying to say even when know one else does.

Wait, I’m confused?

Wait I can't math... my tank is 125 the sump is 50 so what size do I need?
Your volume after sand and rock will be about 100 gallons. Maybe 115.

My 125 plus 40 gallon sump is 100 gallons of water. I use a 100 gallon skimmer and run it 6 hours a day.

With the output of the scrubber the cheato is spinning on it's own but it's also traveling bogus so I'll have to get some egg crate and confine it better and see what happens.

After the day I just had, this is exactly the photo I needed! I can feel the coziness and warmth. Just need a horse and all is well in the world. Enjoy Tim and thank you for sharing - now pass the s’mores!

Good morning peeps, that is a shout out to @ESABOE !

Dam-it - I’m sleeping in tomorrow and will just need to deal with the 20 pages you all post before the first cup of coffee has been drunk!

No worries all good readin ;)

Ok @Calmwaters third times a charm! I really like how all of these vendors feed fish and coral with the same product when applicable.

And regarding WWC videos’ - this one was more of a cool update, but at the end Vic shows how/what he feeds.

I love that Vic and Josh talk about their personal office tanks - how they make a lot of the mistakes we would, but they go i to detail and how to correct. Vic loves to show what foods he is feeding and why and we get to see the products in action and determine if it fits our needs. Of course all the companies make DIY food as well but since that’s not in my current wheelhouse, I focus on what I can purchase within my budget.

I hope this helps a bit as there are 100’s of products to choose from and it can be quite overwhelming
