Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
I got 2 cheap small fishnets and cut the wire handle, then threaded a zip tie through the mesh around my powerhead.
That’s a good idea!

I'm excited!
Just a heads up, if you and Amanda need bailed out, Joel and I are working, hit up one of the others on here. Next time it happens and I’m not working I would be happy to bail you gals out. Oh, make sure you get copies of your mugshots, I’ll have T-shirts made with them for all of us friends on Joel’s thread!

Wife almost witnessed a tragedy 30G mixed in so I went to buy another brute lol
Love your scape, well done! Glad things worked out, divorce ms are so expensive these days.

I just ordered a new one that is a better size for the small tank. It’s a hyger mini wave maker
Great little wave maker, I have the 2600 and it doesn’t make a sound and I like the feed mode. Your going to like it Parker.

ok I took two pic of the far left side of the tank. One from the side and one from the front. You can also see how all the clowns hang out and the mated pair royal gramma do.. This rock structure used to be in the middle of the tank. I moved it to the far left near the sand area for the wrasses. As you can see the tangs follow me cause its breakfast time for them...I need to get a better filter for my phone...
The blonde naso is about 6 inch body not including tail and streamers.

Darn, all my guards are for wavemakers. However, I got a 3~D set from a fellow R2R reefer, who @tbrown can also confirm. You might also be able to find the sponge guards ( 3rd party) for those as well.

I will look into the sponges. How exactly does that help?
They cover the slits on the overflow and the slits on your wavemakers, yet still allow for flow. Then ‘nem can’t put tentacles through foam.

Also, when you got the new wavemakers, sometimes they package it with a foam cover which would be great to use

Dr pepper peeps, Dr pepper jelly beans, there is a trend for Dr pepper products in the US? ;)
Should be worldwide.

Yeah I ordered the 2600. I hope it is good for the 10 gallon, it seems to be small.

The adoption is done! Sorry no pics it was raining really hard here. @Calmwaters and her husband are extremely nice people! And she was able to peer pressure me to get some Dr Pepper jelly beans while we were there!
It was not really that hard to convince her she needed the jelly beans. Her son is adorable and very nice pics of Sammy and the Xenia will be in my build thread.

I’m using it on my 32g I think the 1600 would work better for your 10g. Hygger list on there sight the sizes of tanks each model would work with.
