My coworker and the staff of urgent care next door. I looked at it with eclipse glasses and it’s 3/4 covered. A crecent sun.

Well, here in Santa Barbara hospital they decided to skip it and make it look like an early morning ocean haze I guess. Don’t want to panic the celebrities- lol

Ok that was a lot cooler than I was expecting. My pictures won’t do it justice. Got so dark all the street lights came on.

A lot darker than it looks and temperature dropped about 15 degrees.

Thanks to Tim and Jennifer for the heads up on the contest.
Not sure if I'm smart enough to figure out how to enter but I'm going to try and enter later.
Kevin if I do win, this things going to you my friend!
I don't need it and I'd love to see what you could do with a bigger tank and honestly you deserve it dude. :smiling-face-with-smiling-eyes:

I did get to see the last one that was I think in 2017 it was really cool.
There was one a few months ago. We were at a conference and they were going to break for it but forgot...

It's only a 250 litre (54ish gallons?) but would still be a great tank!

It already started here with the full eclipse beginning at 3:13. People are in my parking lot looking up. On the Turnpike when I drove up this morning there were a lot of signs instructing people not to pull over are park on the side of the turnpike.
Haha, same here. A TON of people were heading up north to see totality.

I was quite disappointed. Looked nothing at all like yours even though mine was 96.6%. It just looked like right before a storm is about to come, the clouds, and the darkness. It still was a beautiful event!

Nothing happened here in Antarctica.
Guess you need sun for an eclipse?
I'm never going to get anything figured out ever. :crying-face: :crying-face:
