Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Great to hear. If I lived closer I would bring you a dozen boxes of cheerios that you could eat whenever you wanted. Hang in there Jen, 12 days and you’ll be in the Sunshine, oh wait they have sunshine in California too.
Bow we’re talking!

Oh my gosh a few minutes ago I got a call for an interview for a job next Tuesday working at the court house in the clerk of court office and I just now got off the phone with the lady I interviewed with last week at the health department and they want to hire me if I pass a drug test and back ground check which I have no problem with passing either of those. Benefits are pretty much the same at both jobs but one pays about $3,373 more per year starting out. I don't know which one to choose yet but hopefully I can wait to do the drug test until after I go for the court house interview that way I can get a better feel for that job.

Nice Amanda!!!

Happy Taco Tuesday! I had tacos for lunch. After work I get to meet up with the rest of my family for my daughter's college enrollment for her culinary program! Maybe I can talk them into tacos for dinner afterwards.

Good things are happening!

Looking for reputable online fish stores with quarantine.
Not a lot of fish get QTed anymore it seems like. I've purchased a total of 1 fish online and he arrived healthy and happy which is rare for a Lawnmower Blenny... Reef Chasers.

I've heard good things about Dr Reef's QT fish and Blue Zoo Aquatics was a recommendation for fish as well. Also, TSM says they QT but I have 0 experience with them. LiveAquaria has the Driver's Den - not sure if they're QT or not but I was told if buying from them, only purchase Diver's Den fish.

That is incredible Amanda. And you should wait to consider both offers. They won’t make formal offer until background check and drug test are back and those take time.
You can ask for detailed information on entire offer packet, specifically benefits, which show breakdown of your out-of-pocket costs.
Not sure how it works in civil jobs though but you should ask anyway. That difference in salary could end up not being much depending on other costs - especially vesting in 401K.

Closest they got at hospital is cheese enchiladas; oddly no corona though - lol

One is state and one is county and they have the benefits listed on the job postings and they are honestly pretty much exactly the same so it will more than likely come down to which one I think I will enjoy the most. One is 10 minutes from home the other is 15.

Are the roles very different? Do the main functions of the job align with what you actually enjoy doing? Are you looking for a role that pushes you to the next lvl in skills/learning or at this point in your career is it more about the people you work with and what you spend most of your day doing?
