Also, breakfast with a Japanese influence- pics will come!

Oops got my people confused sorry about that.
lol I’m still working on it. I have to go by buckets so water changes are a lot of work. I figured I’d just scrub the sump since it’s about 20 gallons, and refil with fresh. Let that be my waterchange this week. It was pretty gross too. Lots of vermintids.

lol lemme tell y’all what I did.

So I have the Eflux return pump on this thing. I love it. Great pump. Anyhow it was due a cleaning. So since I tore down everything I went ahead last night and unscrewed the screws. I did discover some rust behind one of the screws on the inside (where it doesn’t have a nut, just a metal bar to screw into) anyhow I don’t think it’s getting in the system.

But y’all. I disassemble the whole thing, cleaning the gunk and everything paying close attention to the impeller.

I put it back together, making sure to tighten the screws all nicely.

Then I see I left the dang impeller out :grinning-face-with-sweat:

Anyhow here’s the pics with the rust. I cleaned it all up. You can see it’s just there and not inside so I hope it’s still good. I don’t have the cash to get a new return.
