Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Soon but for now I'll settle for being your and Jojo's sous chef. ;)
More interested in the pastry chef position actually! Now that the kids are getting slightly less needy, might try getting back into making more desserts--which doesn't really align with our fitness goals... Hrmmm

I might try that with mine, I bet it will charge less than my dentist!
I’ve never seen my cleaner shrimp clean any of my fish. The only fish that approached him like a car wash was the sick orange shoulder I lost.

He is a voracious eater during my manual feeding time though.

Do they only clean the larger fish like tangs? I only have the chocolate.

Maybe I should give back to LFS to lessen bioload on a CUC I don’t really need?

Thoughts from peeps who’ve kept them?

Wow!
Ok Luis it's official.
You have been promoted to Smorgasbord head cook!
There's a badge for that around here somewhere.... :thinking-face:
I'll start looking around for it....;)

Well then, Joel needs to give me a couple of his secret recipes to complete my book and I'll take the position! ;)

They are like that, what I do with mine is that before giving food to the corals I give food to the fish and I always make food for him in a separate corner so that he is entertained and lets the corals eat because if no he goes and takes some of their food, sometimes I have to push him because he goes anyway lol,

But does he have fish come to him to clean?

I don’t mind that he competes for food; just want him to do his job.

I don't know much about the subject, but I imagine that if he is not cleaning the fish, it is a good sign that the fish are well cleaned and healthy. So I couldn't tell you, that's what I have as an idea, but we could ask someone to see or read a little more.

Yeah, I didn’t think the team here had much experience. I’ll ask in Cafe. I’ve read a lot and it can be hit,or miss.

I absolutely won’t have a tank without one. Other than my hand my diamond watchman goby is the only fish that lets it clean him.

@1ocean where is our coffee loving, bad-**** protector of the innocent, DIY tank craftsman who loves a gal and appreciates a beautiful shoe?!?
hahah..I am here having coffee now...before I hit the gym..Back and Biceps day..ordered Red Sea 40 ato can (10 gallons) and their new ato system for the 300.. shifts have become crazy and now sometimes do 12 hours not including drive time to loactions....so the girl can't keep up with water evap...
How are you all doing ????

Before I got my trigger I would buy one every two years or so.
I would float it in the bag and my angel and tang would wait at the bag.
When I let it out it immediately cleaned both, gills and all.
They would fight/stand in line for it.

Yeah, I’m thinking it’s a bigger fish benefit- but that’s soo cool he was like, “i’m Rdy!
