Hey all,

Just hot back from Spain and Morocco. What an amazing trip.

While I was gone my dad watch the fish tank. All of the hair algae is gone!!!!!!!!!!

The problem we have now is with the torches. While I was gone we lost the torch with 2 heads. My dad said he got home from work one day and it had brown jelly. I have three other torches in my tank that look good, but the white flesh is still receding. I have been feeding them the restore and flakes and they aren’t getting better. What am I doing wrong? All my other chores look great.

How have yall been?

Thanks

@MERKEY
Welcome back!

Welcome back Parker, can you list your parameters? I’m sure there hasn’t been a change in light or flow since you were gone so let’s start there.

Welcome back Parker! Jealous! Which parts of Spain and Morocco were you visiting?

A late good morning my friends, I woke up 35 minutes before I had to leave for work, didn’t set the alarm and I can’t remember the last time that has happened. Brain was scrambled last night I guess.

Morning all. Currently packing to leave tomorrow. My flight leaves at 8pm, then I have a layover in Chicago for an hour, than finally I should be in St. Louis at midnight which is 1am in Albany time. So long day tomorrow. Still so so heartbroken. Hope yall have a good day. Hugs to you all.

Have a great trip Walker, eat lots of barbecue, pork steaks are huge there. Make sure you tell everyone that St. Louis barbecue is way better than Kansas City barbecue! It will probably be to hot but by chance you get a reasonable cooler day hit the zoo, free to get in.

hmm...maybe drain a combination drain maybe half the tank or some of it to lower the water height and use the mess my girl said, then put the water back or use the opportunity to use it as a water change if you do those...
I think I am going to try this method. My water change is due in a couple days and like you said, it'll give me an excuse to.do a nice big water change!

Dang Walker, if you can get them to fly over South Mississippi real quick, we can have a seafood platter then go wade fishing.

I probably will go. It's going to be low to mid 90s throughout the week. Not too bad.

Was just thinking about you yesterday!
Glad tank/you are well.

You must be young , to hot for this old man. But when I was going to school there it would often be over a 100 degrees and we were out and about but my wife and I were in our early twenties.

I mean it's not comfortable haha. But it's not too bad for me. I can handle heat well. New York is like a tropical rainforest in the summer. In June it got up to 100 degrees for just short of a week and it's always humid. I will just bring lots of water.
