They are both fish food, but one is algae food and the other is regular food. I always try to get them both to fall to the bottom so the cuc can eat.

Conchs have a large appetites, and usually even with supplementing their diet they eventually die due to starvation. What type and how long have you had it?

Finished my "clam slurry". Family hates it, fish like it. I have to triple bag it if I want it to stay in the freezer... LOL.

Luis, Conchs (especially tiger conchs) will eat meaty food items such as mysis, clam, etc. They will really eat anything you add to the tank, but like I said before they have to eat alot. If you decide to try a conch again, bury pieces of seafood and/or nori in the sand and in a few hours check again to see if it's gone. The conch will then learn that at a certain time in that spot he'll get food. Then the algae and leftover food in the tank becomes a snack rather than its only food source.

My salinity dropped to 1.023! My Tiger Conch and a Mexican turbo snail also died. Could that be the reason or is something killing them? When I saw the dead Mexican turbo snail, there was a bumblebee snail on top of it.

I don't know that 1.023 will kill them. A lot of fish stores keep salinity between 1.019 and 1.022 I believe....

I also realized that my old heater was not correct, when I used the new tester it gave me another temperature and I confirmed it with 2 more thermometers, I thought my temperature was 78.5° when in reality it is 76.5°

This is more likely a cause for alarm but even 76.5 isn't "bad". In my old tank after I turned the heater off I didn't start seeing snail deaths until around 73.

I have algae but very little and I also always drop a little extra food on the bottom so that everyone can eat, but it could be yes, the tiger conch had been in the same place for several days and I got worried and took it out and realized that there was nothing inside and the Mexican turbo snail was face up when I noticed it but it was in a matter of 2 hours because at noon it was not in that place, that is why I did not think that it had died from being face up in such a short time.

Turbos eat a LOT of algae constantly, a small tank like yours probably wouldn't easily support a Turbo long term. I refuse to get Turbos because my tank doesn't have enough algae to keep them alive.

What is algae wafers?

They make them for freshwater algae eaters mostly but they're basically Spirulina algae pressed into little fish "cookies".

Turbos eat a LOT of algae constantly, a small tank like yours probably wouldn't easily support a Turbo long term. I refuse to get Turbos because my tank doesn't have enough algae to keep them alive.

I think you already have a urchin, my second favorite are trochus snails and they will reproduce in your tank and upright themselves if they fall on their backs.

I like Trochus, Ceriths, Stomatellas, and Margaritas for my tanks. A lot of people like Astrea snails or Ninja Stars.

Smaller snails for sand - Ceriths eat algae and stir sand, Nassarius eat leftover food and fish poop and stir the sand.

I rarely get Turbos or Astreas because they can't right themselves.

76.5°f isn't bad at all. I highly, highly doubt that this was the cause as long as it was stable which if it wasn't, you'd be able to tell by now.
