Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
How much larger?!
Looking at a 120. 5x18x26.
Or 150. 4x24x24.
Can't go 6 feet.
What do you guys think would be best?
Trigger needs more room, yellow tang has become huge.
Length, width, gallons?
Opinions?
Gotta travel long for this one.

Thanks guys!
Trying to get one fast before my better half changes her mind. ;)
How old is your daughter? You might want to be finished before she gets to marring age. There is a guy on here who was planning and saving for an upgrade until his daughter got engaged. Just saying.

at least 24" wide as I really dont like this 18" wide tank for working in and of course the longest you can fit in the space and depth of 18+.....

Could you go 5x2x2? That would seem like a meaningful upgrade worth the time and effort.

Zoas, Palys, and mushrooms typically won't kill other corals but they will smother them. Same with GSP.

Encrusting corals, even if they don't "fight" will try to kill by encrusting over - several also have stinging sweepers.

Second this. 5x2x2 would be great if you have the space. Tang would appreciate the extra length and the width, too.

If you have to travel through northern wisco to get your tank, have a 60" x 8x 80w bulb Tek T5HO with a ton of different bulb options (probably 24 bulbs) that you can have. 640 watts of T5 made corals grow and the power meter spin. Don't know how I could safely ship this large of a fixture and bulbs to ya.

Be there in a heartbeat if I could. :smiling-face:
