Mmmmmmm, shake’n bake, my mother used it for chicken when I was young all the time. Am I the only one with black squirrels or do you have them up there Lin? Don’t let the fur color fool you, they are mostly white meat. The were known as chicken of the tree until some canned tuna company purchased the rights to it and called their product chicken of the sea. ;)

some people actually eat the legs. like chicken wings. but you need quite a few to make a meal. Some guy in Germany I saw is making sausages from the raccoon explosion. you could give that a try? :face-savoring-food:

Anyone squirrel hunt? I have an amazing place. Skinned dressed these two fatties , with a lot of sides, could be a meal for one. We could throw this other one in for more color and protein.

That’s the biggest black squirrel I’ve ever seen, it would provide many meals! Some not as cool as yours visitors.

Dont have possum up here but when I lived further south my neighbor used to pickle it. Bet pickled squirrel would be good.

Notice the squirrel proof feeder he is wrecking? Stole the feeder that night and took it back into the woods, found it a couple years later, it wasnt squirrel proof.

Personally, I’ve never been a fan of the tailspot blenny.

Personally, I’ve never been a fan of the tailspot blenny.

Well I joined the club it will be here Tuesday.​

New LFS (MN Aquatics) opened up last month, only 2 hours west of me and they will ship speedee (local shipping company) overnight free over $100 and $10 for <$100 which is awesome! Speedee is always at my house before 11am and they drive cargo vans that are fully heated, its how all my BRS economy orders ship.

This should be a good frag tank crew!

Have not tried black out yet, in order to keep my nutrients in check in going to NEED to buy a test kit which has been overdue for a while now. Going to have to save money to buy a Hannah kit or something like that.

Define "in check"? I have run higher than the Hanna HR Nitrate can read and 0.40 phosphates with no algae problems. Most people want you to run 0.05 phosphates and 5 nitrates but that's too close to bottoming out in my opinion.

Here's my old 125 running high nitrates and daily dosing 20 ml of NeoPhos to keep my phosphates around 0.15-0.02.
