Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
one thing I don't like about the crossflow is that the feed option doesn't auto turn back on. I keep forgetting. The 2600 has the 10 minute timer. didn't read the instructions so it might be programmable. But there is a selection that when the room goes dark, it can turn down the wave.
Ya, I love the feed mode, the fish know what is coming when I switch it on. I can’t get the food in fast enough.

I so need to video the sawfish one day. he knows when the wave turns off, he gets food. so when he's hungry, he looks at me, goes down and scoops a big mouthful of sand, swims up to the top, spits it in the fan, then swims back to where he was looking at me. If I don't feed him, he keeps doing it till I do.

that would be Jawfish, not saw. I don't have a swimming pool for one of those!

some zoa pics of rock sections in the 300,,,
the 300 is 8ft long so a full tank shot is kinda small...

Are you still looking at upgrading to a bigger tank soon or are you sticking with the 300?

An easy way to control everything in the tank, sometimes I have had to go out and I can turn everything on and off even when I am not in the house ;)

Mine won't connect if I'm not at home on the WiFi. My Hydros I can control from anywhere in the world.

You kids and your fancy gadgets. All of my childhood I had to get up and walk to the tv to change the channel or volume. I was my dad’s remote control.

We didn't get a TV until I was 11 or 12.
I didn't really know what it was nor care.
I spent all day outside, or on the baseball field or soccer field.
