Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
GPH= gallon per hour, The main problem you have right now is that you have no flow at all and that's why you have so much gha, When you get the hyggers, put one on each side wall of the tank and there you test the intensity so that there is flow throughout the tank, for example I have 4 powerheads in total in my tank, almost all set to half their power
Got it. I have plans to do that, add phosbond, new ro and get io

Be careful adding Phosphate removers without knowing your actual Phosphates. Taking out all phosphates can cause problems of its own.

You kids and your fancy gadgets. All of my childhood I had to get up and walk to the tv to change the channel or volume. I was my dad’s remote control.
I remember turning it on and having to wait 10 minutes to see the picture. those old tubes were something else.

My daughter cooked up some soup - chicken and chilies, don't know what else is in it - and some biscuits!

In the same way that a paella is cooked, this is a paella but with meat, it is called Paella Campesina
I looked up the recipe, it says chicken and shrimp. I’m going to give it a whirl after I try my hand at making sauerbraten this weekend.

make spaetzle too. Would go great together. My kids love it when I make it.

I think I'm going to collapse my 32 cube eventually. It was always the plan. just not sure about transferring the jawfish over. the sand should be deeper and not sure I want to blow the rocks off. Also not sure if the snowflake and the Mandarin would be OK together yet. But this is the most color I had in the tank. Would make things easier on me to just have a single tank.

here's my spaetlze go to recipe. I use a press but you can smear it through a cheese grater in a bind. 1 cup flour, 1tsp salt, 1/2tsp pepper, 1/2tsp ground nutmeg, 2 eggs, 1/4C milk. Mix well and press into boiling water. the pasta will float when done after about 2 minutes. then strain and sir with butter and lightly fry in a pan till it starts to brown. My pasta press is a cup that presses it through holes and comes out like small squiggly worms (also called a potato ricer). the kids tell me hands down it's the best thing I ever make for them. that recipe makes about 3 servings.
