Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Water parameters and temperature? Because we know they did not die of hunger
they do not like high nitrates and phosphates. ironically that's usually why you need them.

funny, I have that on tonights menu too. The meats, lettuce and cheesy's are in the fridge.
This is the first time in a while that I've bought a kit. usually everyone prefers Tostito's Scoops and create mini's. People are requesting tortillas, tacos, chips and just a spoon so it gets crazy sometimes. Oh and let's not forget the marinade!

We demand photos when they are ready ;)

NO it doesn't! those are NOT tacos! How dare you! But a chair that says "Señorita" may make it acceptable! Does the chair you are sitting in say Señorita or Senior?
Señorita because the restaurant is named Señorita Bonita’s.

Isn’t a little early to be “marinating” yourself??

OK, conure loving people. Been thinking we might need to add one to the family. (or two). Always thought the Sun had the greatest coloring. Anyone have advice? Had thought about a Macaw too. Need it to be interactive and playful.

personally I don't think I can afford 2 macaws which I why I would think a mated pair of Sun Conures or a Macaw. are males or females better as a loner? this will be a family discussion.

Conures are a new world to me but I'm reading up on it, but Suzi is the right person to talk to you about it. Try to contact her, Here in R2R I know there are more people who have them because I've seen the photos but I don't remember who they are.

On the little bit smaller side, I loved my white belly caique. He would climb down his cage walk across the floor and may stop to bite the sleeping golden retriever’s nose. He would then bite my pants and pull his legs up, hold on and repeat until he was on my shoulder. Then he would go down my arm and roll on his back ( one of the few birds that like to lay on their backs, about gave me a heartache the first time I saw him on the floor of his cage) so I would rub his belly.

yeah, I'm thinking it through. growing up I've had parakeets and a cockatiel. but was always interested in Macaw parrots. I really like the sun conures colors and have been reviewing them frequently lately as someone recently posted their interaction with them and thought it might be a great time for one. So this just leads to more questions. not sure where I can go around here to see and meet in person for Macaws. Seems RI or NY are the 2 closest areas. If anyone knows a reputable breeder let me know.

@KQuillan owns a parrot rescue out of TN. Rescue a bird, don't get from a breeder.
She's the one I go to with any questions in regards to birds. She's the guru!
And @Miami Reef has Cheese!

I have always been into small songbirds, I have had canaries, cuban bullfinch, cuban grassquit, some agapornis and one that my wife had years ago. Actually my dad have some of those here

My son has been begging me for a caique for over a year.
If we ever get another bird, that will likely be what we get.
