Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Now when they greeted me they told me that with 3 more purchases they will give me their exclusive credit card :face-with-tears-of-joy: :face-with-tears-of-joy:,and the award for the almost-employed person who attends Taco Bell the most
I knew someone that used to go to McDonald all the time. the guy at the window once said to them "you need to learn how to cook". WOW!!!

The water is so clear. Are you doing anything special to maintain that?

I like Picasso Triggers. Very pretty fish.
Yes I love triggers.
I have had him since he was 1 inch long.
He's a giant baby.
Never hurt anyone.
I don't use carbon, pads, sponges, gfo, algae scrubber, dsb.
I'm basically Berlin all the way with live rock, Lifereef vs3-24 and a few mangroves.
Water changes every week.
That's it.
Now let's see some of your clams my friend!

So my firefish is actually swimming a ton which makes me super happy. I can actually approach the tank, and he won't dart into the rocks. I love being able to finally see him! He's such a pretty fish!
Tank transfer is serving you well Walker!

yeah, I'm thinking it through. growing up I've had parakeets and a cockatiel. but was always interested in Macaw parrots. I really like the sun conures colors and have been reviewing them frequently lately as someone recently posted their interaction with them and thought it might be a great time for one. So this just leads to more questions. not sure where I can go around here to see and meet in person for Macaws. Seems RI or NY are the 2 closest areas. If anyone knows a reputable breeder let me know.
I agree with @OrchidMiss , they are long lived animals and a lot of people don’t know what they are getting into when they purchase them and then life happens. I got mine relatively cheap, for a parrot, after the owners went away to college and left him with their parents . He was already, talking, knew a couple tricks and loved attention from people. Sometimes people die, move and can’t take it with or become disabled etc. You can get a Macaw that is socialized and affordable that way. Unfortunately I was instructed by my surgeon after my transplant things to avoid, salad bars, buffets, raw seafood, meat cooked below medium well ( I cheat) and no birds in the house due to being immuno compromised. This is where mine originally came from.https://www.facebook.com/share/15gA1g3seE/?mibextid=wwXIfr

My son has been begging me for a caique for over a year.
If we ever get another bird, that will likely be what we get.
Mine was a riot you won’t regret it if you do. Although I got it for the kids it bonded to me.
