Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Thoughts and prayers man, I sent my last message before seeing this so if you want to get some rest go for it! Not gonna hurt my feelings at all!
Nope I'm here Mike been trying to shake it off all day.
I'm ready for you.

All good I'm still here for you no worries.
I appreciate it! So, just getting my nitrate tester set up but phosphates I tested 3x. Only because it's a used tester so I'm still verifying it doesn't do weird stuff.
Test 1 was fresh out the tank.
Test 2+3 were like 45 mins later so I'm sure water has cooled and maybe done other stuff? Idk if it would effect the tests but there was some variance so maybe?

Test 1: .01
Test 2: .06
Test 3: .04

Here's some pictures of my tank. It was about a week and a half since I last cleaned it(I know bad job...) last I tested my phosphates were too high to test and my nitrates were around 5. So I setup a phosban reactor and it tanked my phosphates to 0 so I shut it down for a couple days and it's been running again the last 2 days

Ok let's see nitrate when you are ready.

I cleaned it the morning before I got these corals and this is that night. The cyano was aboutnwhere it was when i cleanednit as i did anquick gravel vac and missed a decent bit of spots but i scrubbed the rock rlwith a brush and went through like 9 of the super fine filter socks getting it out of my water. I'd say it came back at about 30% today. Whites are off now so can't really give a new picture

nice cyano. I'd just let it run. close your eyes and come back later. the more you tweak, I think you won't enjoy it as much.

Okay Mike one thing I want you to do when using any reactor with anti phosphate products is to start with next to no product and work your way up.

I prefer test 2, were you asking?

When did the cyno start?
Before or after reactor?
Before. I only started the reactor because I had done consistent 15-20% water changes weekly for a month or so and saw no improvement and my phosphates were super high when I finally tested them
