Anywho to make a long story even longer you are never done learning in this hobby.
The joys and disappointments alike.
You guys have some of the best looking tanks anywhere I've seen and pretty much have a handle on things.
Hopefully someone finds all of my Monday fish drama helpful one day. :smiling-face:

But I don't think it's the Po4 Joel, I'm driving the Po4 right now at 1.6 and I don't have that problem, I'm lowering it little by little because it was at 1.8, I want to take it to 0.8 and stay there for a while

I'm really clueless, honestly.
Never had this happen before.
I'm still going with the acrylic theory TBH.
I think lowering phos is still a good idea.
I don't mind any algae.
Welcome it in fact.
But if you can't get it off with an aggressive cleaning pad I'll pass on that cuz that's no fun.

They are actually really nice lights.
Everything looks a lot better now without all the brown. ;)

Rock and sand have a lot to do with it I think.
I really don't know a lot about a lot of tank chemistry.
Every tank is different and each one uses different things in different ways.
As long as things look great I've always said who really cares but this little issue I had made me realize, hey, gotta change water each week, gotta test things dummy.

Yes.
Wasn't quite right and yes, blues really windex hard.
I'm limiting mine to 18 white and 25 blue max.
That's it.
I ran 100 blues for fun and it lit up my whole front yard!

Big tank- 25 N and .08 P.
Little tank- 10N and. 03 P.
Targets.
Big tank now is way over, little tank is under.

Only No3 and Po4 are not where I would like them to be.
Now
No3 - 48
Po4 - 1.6

Whre i want them
No3 - 25-35
Po4 - 0.8

Lost my daddy to cancer almost 10 years ago and miss him every day. Last thing he said to me was he loved me and then baby please don't cry...

I lost my Dad on New Years Eve 2020. He had been in the hospital for almost a month and we couldn't go see him due to covid. He was also in icu, so he couldn't talk on the phone. Talk about not getting to say goodbye. But I imagine he would've tried to encourage me, just like your Daddy did with you. He wasn't worried about himself, he just didn't want you to hurt. Ide like to share a sad song ,I lost my mother to substance abuse 26 days after i turned 18 had to grow up super fast for me and my sister never really got time to grieve over it since it was hardcore survival mode now 35 now and recently found this song that hits hard every time

I shoot for 50 Nitrates and 0.14 phosphates.

My tank runs 5 Nitrates and 1.4 Phosphates?
