We're all the build thread you need Keith. I'm the same way. I'll have a coral fir a month and realize I never told yall about it haha. I'm interested to see how you light it and create flow. If I ever add another tank, a shallow, highlight sps tank intrigues me. Randy Holmes Fairley had a cool article on this not too long ago

It will be lit with Reefbrite hybrid dual 250 watt metal halides with Radium bulbs. I am removing the Reefbrite blue strip lights and replacing with Quanta Meso Blue bars. For flow, two MP-10s and the flow from the return pump which is a Reef Exclusive pump, that in itself is a thing of beauty. The returns will have VCA flow generators as well. I'll post pics of the equipement. I have a Pentair 50w HO UV that will be driven by a separate pump. Sump is a Bashea Smart Series SMS-3615. Reef Octo 150INT skimmer. Clearview algae scrubber that I may or may not use, depending on how effective the UV is. Couple other goodies I'm probably forgetting.

I'm hoping on it. The Radiums are a 20k bulb, so they have some blue in them. When I ran them before, it reminded me of diving between 10-15 feet.

I really wish they still made the 14k Phoenix double ended 250w bulbs. Those had awesome color, very similar to a Radium color in my opinion. On a color spectrum, the Pheonix were probably more a 20k, but man, those bulbs were awesome. The pic in my signature is my 90 gallon tank lit with two Phoenix DE bulbs on M58 ballasts...

@WalkerLovesTheOcean I got an orange/golf hammer in my shipment today. How is yours doing? Mine is still closed up, but I can't wait to send you a pic once it opens. I think the hammer is such a beautiful coral, and these color variations make such a scape when arranged together

Keep an eye on it. I can't really tell from the photo but it kind of looks like Bryopsis to me.

Well someone on here was. It looks like it’s just on the sand, may be easy to simply remove it manually. I had a couple bouts over the past 3 years with it on my rock and I used Reeflux successfully both times.
