I always try to go overboard on dwarf Ceriths. They're cheap and a very low bio load and great for getting in the small cracks and crevices in the rock work and for keeping the sand turned over. I do a minimum of 25 (as much as 100 on one order).

I haven't noticed much change with them in there to be honest. Most of my Florida ceriths died on shipment so I'll get more this time. This is the cart, what else should I add?

Dwarfs are so small you won't notice much of a difference with low numbers.

I prefer Trochus, Nerites, and Ceriths with the occasional Margarita snail thrown in for variety and spice.

@00W do you have the same tank you started almost a decade ago?

I have all the rock, fish and 2 snails.
I've since moved everything over to a 100 a couple of months ago.
Old tank sits lonely in garage

I had two acan colonies taken out by my chalice, a month or so later I saw the acan color of about the size of a BB. It’s been slow, over six months but it’s now the size of a dime.
