Sorry for not being quite active lately. It's been nice outside so I've been spending time outside. Yesterday I saw white spots on my carpenters wrasse and royal gramma. I got pretty carried away and researched it the whole night. I fed them with some garlic and ginger soaked LRS. They seemed to like it, and the white spots are gone as of today. They may or may not come back, but I'm hoping that the fishes are now strong enough to fight them off. I read from Paul B. That live earthworms are great to feed your fish, so I think when I find one I'll chop it up and feed it. I'll try to look as normal as possible doing it, but I'm sure my neighbors already think I'm crazy :winking-face-with-tongue:. Anyways, good night folks!

I did a search to see if Joel had ever disclosed the name of his restaurant. I didn't want to pester him if it is already answered on here. I looked at Sandpoint restaurants on Google and have a guess but...

Yes but with nutrients this low I've got cyano problems which has never been that much of an issue before.
I'm experiencing this with n03. I'm sorry if you've already posted this, but are your p04 low too, or just nitrates?

Ok reinstalled this bad girl....

Pretty sure the lifereef is too much for this tank.
Running an experiment here, using this more for oxygenation than major skim.
See what happens.
Maybe not stripping so much from the water will help the biome.
You know oddly Joel, I've never ran a skimmer. I still have trouble testing 5 ppm nitrates. It's crazy how unique and varied each reef actually is.

Awesome family man! You're from Tennessee? I'm one state south of you! The Weather Channel refers to us as "the landmass between New Orleans and Mobile haha
