My bad habit is acting like I'm ok when inside I'm a mess. I think it's because I know everyone has enough of their own stuff they are going through.

I have a sweatshirt that says "Be Kind" on the front. The back says "you don't know the demons others are facing". It's a "military" sweatshirt but it applies to everyone I meet. You don't know what the other person is dealing with and to simply be kind and understanding is a choice. I choose happiness and kindness even though I deal with demons. I don't need to take it out on others

I'd like to build it so that you can see it from both sides, but the aquascape prevents you from seeing into the bedroom. That way you almost have 2 seperate tankes. The living room side and the bed room side.

Totally understand my friend. Trust me. I don't trust many people. When I met my wife 6 years ago, I trusted nobody. She has allowed me to open up and share with her the darkest parts of my past without fear of it being used against me. I am again blessed with having met her.

It's a nice feeling of having a solid partner in life that you can trust. Everyone needs a solid rock to cling to when times get tough

I'm with Keith on this one, before I met my wife I was the most closed-off guy in the world about my problems, even today I don't tell her everything because that's how men are, but she has taught me and supported me a lot to let myself be supported and helped, when you fall all alone there comes a time when the backpack you carry weighs a lot.

I get that. Im the same way. I was brought up with a sickly younger brother so how do you justify your headache or pulled muscle when your brother had a liver transplant lol. Hard to get over that tendency. Just know that you don't have to feel like your a downer or taking away from anyone else here. You deserve the support, just like anyone else. You give, so you should also receive support.

This makes my heart happy.

Truly. I had gone through a terrible divorce and so had she. We met randomly, began talking and our paths had crossed numerous times. I think I wrote about that a couple hundred pages back. God has his own plan and I have grown to accept it and cherish it. I can honestly say, she is the best thing (I don't like that phrase) that has happened to me. Spiritually, emotionally and physically.

I constantly struggle to lighten up. Im pretty easy going, and I goof around, but sometimes I'm quick to judge. I've been working on that the last few years and have made a lot of progress. Having a son has taught me a lot about patience as well

I'm the same 100%. It's been years since my last visit to the doctor, and they'll keep counting the years. Maybe sometime it's too late, but that's how I operate.

My Dad was a wreck, my whole family was spiraling and I felt like it was my job to be "the man" and burry it down and get everyone through it. Luckily my wife was there at 3am and caught me spiraling. We aren't meant to live our lives alone.
