Sounds to be a positive. You can choose to use the Cipro or wait and see what happens to the hammer. Do you have an updated pic?

I'll get one today, when I get home. It looks almost the same. I was a bit encouraged that it hasn't regressed. I'm inclined to try the cipro immediately . I haven't discovered too many negatives for adding it. I'd hate to let it backslide

The new branches look like they are continuing to grow! Hopefully the Cipro will knock out what is harming the hammer and it will bounce back. If not, you still have those babies under there to grow out!

I’ve used it twice, your good to go. I recommend using it when you get it.

I agree. I just didn't want to say "you must use it". However, as you stated, I'd go ahead and dose the tank unless he wants to pull the hammer and do a dip. The dip will be more labor intensive by far since the hammer will basically need to be in a QT for the course of the treatment.
