Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
How long have you had it Luis? I had a blue one decades ago, did great for about 6 months and then kinda disintegrated. I’ve been pulling for yours and someone else’s on here but I can’t remember who it was, because if they do well long term I’d like to get one.
John has one too, I've had mine for about that time or less Kev, today when I get home from work I'm going to check it out because I move it a little but I didn't see any reaction.

They're trying to AI me more distinguished. :face-with-tears-of-joy:
Well, ole Chap! I say it is working. Quite dashing.

Ummm... Yes? I may have messed up. I got married the day before my birthday.
We knew what you mean Tim. John is just being a casting!

We got married the day before mother's day so, of course our anniversary falls on mother's day occasionally.
Good thing my wife doesn't remember the date!
It also saves you money on gifts Joel.

Mine last 9 months. One arm went in the wave maker, survived, went back strong and few months later begin to disintegrate.

I've heard that about starfish. Does anyone know why they don't usually fare well in aquariums? Diet?

I think it's mostly diet related. We can't feed them properly or enough.

I know that sand sifting starfish ultimately starve to death. Not sure about linckia starfish.

Bacterial infection from the injury?
