She had to have an emergency procedure done on the port they use for her dialysis. The bad thing is, they weren't able to fix it, and it'll require a longer stay and another procedure. She's got a little road ahead of her. Thanks for asking about my mom Amanda. I hope you're doing great today. :)

I feel kind of out of the game on the baseball players. I've recognized a few but since I don't watch sports, don't really watch TV for that matter, some of the pics I have NO idea who it is!

One of our family on the Smorgasbord who is not on or interacting often ( I think he is busy abusing his son by making him eat chicken fingers that are making obscene gestures and/or shy) sent me seeds to grow his prized pepper plants and in true luis fashion went above and beyond! Thank you Luis!

Yep, it is in her arm, so they put a temp cath in her chest, with a replacement in the near future. She's had this happen a couple times now.

That happens often with the ones in the arm. It's probably due to the fact that you move your arm around and it becomes kinked or twisted. If you need anything, let me know. I worked in the ICU for 17 years... I've seen a lot! LOL

Watching someone struggle with health issues is hard for sure but at the same time has a way of changing your perspective on life.
