What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
I hope to win a meridian but Tim will probably win it lol
I'd really like that one as well. The Meridians look like a really nice setup without being crazy-expensive.

Regarding selling what you've won, I have mixed opinions. If I paid a ticket for a spot in a raffle, I would consider doing whatever I wanted with the winnings. But here, since everything is free and it's such a small hobby, I mean, compared to others, I'd give it away before selling it. But hey, like Tim says, who am I to give advice Lol. I also don't see anything wrong with someone selling what they've won. I'm just talking about myself.

Im kinda in the market for new lighting. KINDA. Basically I would like new lights but I wouldn't like to spend the money on them :grinning-face-with-sweat:

Luis,

One of my favorite parts of this hobby is the people we meet, whether in person or on the forums. I really like seeing people sharing their corals, unused equipment, time and knowledge so freely with others. We all have different resources, experience and talents and to see them openly shared, instead of secreted away like in many hobbies, is heartwarming. I always log off of R2R feeling better than when I logged on.

Ditto. I'd rather give an extra frag to someone that I know. Luis is the same way too

I know what you mean Tom, I was in fishing chats for a couple of years, believe me that is a very dark hobby when it comes to sharing fishing secrets, I am always the same person everywhere , I shared stores to buy cheaper and fishing spots, and there were people who wrote me private messages insulting how I was going to share those locations, once a person came to look for me to fish and when we got to the place he almost took me blindfolded and almost made me promise not to share the location, that's also why I have been away from that world for a while, whenever I want to fish I go alone and that's it, that was a very toxic world and I'm not like that, with its virtues and defects I think that this community is the best that exists and I'm not only referring to Smorgasbord but to everything in the forum in general, I love the people here very much and that is one of the reasons, that they do not keep anything for themselves, be it knowledge or something material, and that is rarely seen today

Dude, ice fishing groups I'm in always scribble out the backgrounds of their fishing spots. It's toxic as all get out!
