I did a big water change on mine and the wife's tank today. And that's about it! I enjoy working on the tanks, so it was a nice one.

Jill, has something been attacking that red Cynarina in the front?

i dont think so. its so weird. i think it started doing that when i put it on the frag stand. it gets nice and big all the way around except for that side! but once in awhile itll inflate that side too. all i can figure is there is an aiptasia there under the big rock. i know its aways away from the coral, but thats all i can figure out! anything stand out to you?

Can't see anything in there probably till tomorrow....
No water change, just a lot of manual destruction lol...

The water change went well. My parameters were good, but I'll be running a bit of phosbond to get p04 down some. My alk is usually around 9-9.2 and calcium is around 440. These numbers were down between water changes this time. @kevgib67 I think this shows you to be correct that I may have to start dosing soon.

This is the part of the hobby that tests our love for it. The tank always seems to come back better than before in the end.

Is it closer to the sand than it used to be? Could be a worm got into the skeleton, but that doesn't really look like it. Aiptasia is definitely a possibility, especially if it inflates every once in a while.
How is the flow there? Could it be getting blasted on that one side?
Cynarina are weird creatures and can do just about anything. It doesn't always mean something is wrong.
