Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
My white worm culture arrived now. Is it a surprise that they're all dead? Not for me. I'm trying to see if anything is moving, but no luck so far.

Oh man, so sorry Luis

Mine have been at .25 for years.
Trying to get there and stay there. That .4 was pre water change and exhausted p04 extraction media. So we'll see how it looks after that. .2 is a perfect number for me, but I won't chase it if everything is happy and nuisance algae stays down.

Well some was dry goods, magnesium, mysis and brine shrimp. Picked up some bam bam zoas and this mushroom rock with three different color mushrooms ( rhodactis I think) to surprise my son when he gets home and looks in his tank. Super Susan zoas and 2 more porcelain crabs which make three. I wanted to get a handful of banded trochus snails but they were out.

I love the contrast! My first coral was 2 rhodactis on a rock. I still have them!

I just fed the tank a buffet of food and released the gramma darted into a hiding place while the other fish were preoccupied with food. It is typical of them to hide and not come out even for food for the first few days.

Took my wife's about a week. Then thengramma was the only thing you ever saw lol

Dang man.... :(

Hi everyone. So I'm home with meds I have kidney stones which would explain why it hurts more at times than others. Hopefully it will get better in a few days.
Sorry about this Amanda. You're too precious for all this to be going on. We love you, we're thinking of you, as you can see.

Oh man, so sorry Luis
All good, my friend. Maybe I'll try again in winter, and then if UPSP fails, which is gonna happen, at least the worms will be able to last a few more days. Right now, it's too hot here, 2 days in that delivery car I knew it was going to be deadly, even one day

On this week’s podcast of grilling with Kev we will be preparing a steak that has been marinating for 24 hours.

That steak needs a couple friends 😆 🤣
Looks delicious though if you have an appetizer Kevin!

Catherine got a great deal on mushrooms that were close to their sell by date. She slices them and freezes them. They work great in sauces and soups.
In this case the little boys sliced them.

Reefing is one of the only things that I enjoy more than growing mushrooms.

Im so sorry Amanda. I'm glad you're on medication now and hopefully you start to feel better soon!

I picked up some Greek yogurt and yeast flakes today at the store for the white worms. They're going to be eating better than me!

Sorry about this Amanda. You're too precious for all this to be going on. We love you, we're thinking of you, as you can see.
Thank you. You guys are for sure a bright spot in my rough times lately and I'm blessed to call you my friends.
