Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
So don't get my pump haha. That said it'll do like 6,000 gph or something crazy like that and handle 30+' of head pressure
I had an old Iwaki back in the day would pump to the top of the empire state building but it was sooooo loud.
I love my jebaos but as far as using them like this I dunno....

My reeflo is pretty loud. I wouldn't use it if it wasn't in my basement

Thanks for the help Mike.
I don't mind running two pumps, mainly because one is dedicated to the skimmer, but 4 is too many.

I would say most any DC pump is going to be a vast improvement over 4 pumps. My only thought is get something mildly overpowered and dial it back to where you need it. I've tried doing it in the past with smaller pumps and it sucks when you cant get the right pressure for every device

I'm running a Reeflo Dart/Snapper hybrid pushes 3600/2600 gph (3600 in my version). It's running both returns in the DT and the refugium with plenty left over. It doesn't seem loud to us, but our household isn't always the quietest.

Case in point

@smitten with ocean life I second the fish eggs suggested by Joel. I've never seen ANYTHING pass them up, and they are small and should float around for the cab. I've never had a cbb, however

Yep! I feed everyone of those to my tank as well Luis. I even spot feed corals with it. Everyone loves the marine and emerald cuisines a lot too.
