Just as I have it, I like John, although many people say that Hannah's alkalinity test is great, but I've never tried it

I'll see if I can zoom in with my half working eyes lol. I've always heard Hannah is good for alk, ulr p04, id probably do strips for nitrates. They're always closer to too low anyway. And I think salifert for calcium and an api every month or so just to double check home testing accuracy a bit.

I have all the Alf seasons. To avoid getting syndicated versions with stuff cut out I ordered them out of Germany, with English subtitles. It is what it is, an 80s TV show, but I find a lot of the episodes funny. However this scene is hands down my favorite Alf centric scene in the whole series. I guess the guy who played Willie really hated the show, in part because the actors felt that they were permanently upstaged by the puppet. He mellowed toward it later in life because people wrote telling him how much they liked his character. Personally I thought his reactions to Alf were often funnier than Alf's lines. No one remembers probably, but when someone makes a mistake my boys will sometimes quote him saying to Alf "You made a boo boo?!?" It's impossible to convey in print but the way he delivered the line always makes us laugh.

Definitely a staple in my house in the 80’s, great show. It wasn’t until later I learned what Alf stood for.
