I promise I will stop posting pictures. Garden is coming in nicely. Softneck garlic across the far back wall is growing quickly. I’ll take one last look at the temperatures going into June and if there’s no dips in below 40 degrees my cucumbers will go in this weekend, they are about 6 inches and I have them under a grow light. Only about half the snap peas spouted so I’ll plant some additional seeds.

Ew haha. I barely know what i'm doing but we got it going. They had some guy fly out from Virginia to do the PLC programming and he basically told us what inputs and outputs he needed from the old system and where they'd go on the new system and my helper and I ripped and tore. Sitting around waiting for him to finish testing now so we can demo out old jumpers

not to be a grow critic, but give the garlic more space next time. 6". I plant mine at 6" deep and 6" apart. I just planted some bush beans but might be late. I think I'm supposed to do that before the forsythia blooms.

I bet it feels good though to decommission some of this stuff.

The worst wiring in the school I never photographed. Besides the two main buildings there is another building across the parking lot and two modular buildings behind the main buildings. One time I had to go in the ceiling of the modular buildings to trace a wire. They had connected the main building to the modulars and the other building using recycled 25-pair telephone cable. They used two pair per drop so just a CAT3 connection. It is a total wiring maze in the ceiling as they just split the jacket near the entrance to the building and ran wires to plugs in the walls. I stopped helping in the school last year because I just couldn't crawl around in that stuff any longer. I do still help with planning and remote network support. They are finally getting a CAT6 cable to each building this summer so that they can install more modern switches (I had to hunt around to find old switches that still recognized CAT3 as a valid connection). It will feel good knowing that the wiring is getting better.

I would imagine you are getting the same feeling from the upgrade you are doing.

I've only had the bites a long time ago. I doubt you'd know the difference between a plate of popcorn chicken. but I think the sauces were all some type of cajun. it was still good.

Its wild how many wires we are eliminating. 16 pairs do the work of 60 or 70. I don't have much of a dog in this fight, just got subbed out to help the PLC guy by a local gas company. It is going to be nice to modernize this though.

No way! I have a bottle of that at home! I'll post a pic when I get home. I saw it and bought it since my stepson's name is Andy. I haven't opened it.

you do need to change the location every year. They recommend only once everything three years but I've been amending my soil and planting every 2 years. seems OK. Supposedly it keeps other animals away if you plant around your property. Same thing with Irish Spring soap.
