Okay, that was weird. I went to 'like' this post and it took me to another page to confirm I wanted to like it.

Happened to me a few times too.

I need to move this big leather but it is attached to the rock. I have tried pulling it off and using my finger to pry it out, but it doesn’t seem to be working and when I do that, all this white stuff come off of it and makes like a white cloud in the water. Should I just get a pair of scissors and cut it right from the base? Will that kill it and how should I re glue it to a different rock?

Do you run carbon? If not, you might consider it, at least while attempting to relocate the leather.

As far as how, I believe scissors works or chiseling the rock right under it's "foot".

Reattaching I think most people use a needle and some fishing ine through the base, tie it to a rock or place it in a low flow area of the tank with some rock rubble around its foot and it should attach naturally after a while.

But I don't really deal with Leathers so I'm not a lot of help.

My sinularia kept coming off the frag plug. It came holding it on with a rubber band. I then put a tooth pick through the base and attached the toothpick with a rubber band. The only thing that worked was putting it in a bowl with rock rubble in a plastic bowl in low flow until it attached to a piece and then mounted it. How was your lacrosse season Parker?

Ok I’ll give that a try. Thanks. The lax season was great! We were 13-7. Overall a successful season.
