Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Just make sure the Berghia don’t land directly on the aptasia, they will be eaten.
Yes, but they can eat their way out of an Aiptasia. I've seen that firsthand! It was so cool.

It went well. She's feeling decent enough.

I did. Keep in mind, I had 3 Halichoeres wrasses in my tank.
Gotcha! I think I'll wait too. If I drip acclimate salinity, and sit thr containers in the sump, they should be OK until then you think?

It's really cheap lol, my tank cost $1000 with stand, skimmer and doser included and some powerheads, the lights cost $150, the gyres $79 each, my return pump I don't even know what brand it is but it's cheap, my nero 3 are from the biocube, my lid $32 and all my corals and fish were bought for less than $100
Don't ask how much I have invested in mine...

That's what I did. Dripped and floated them. Added 2 to the tank and 1 to the refugium.

if they work, try and save them and send to Joel. Once they go in the tank, you usually don't see them again. the aiptasia just slowly disappear. so I have no idea how you would catch them. maybe have a tiny frag with aiptasia and place it in a Petri dish? I would couple a couple go in the sump too.
If I have the chance to catch them before my wrasses do, that's exactly where they're going!

Well Luis, you did it again! But I know your tank is far from being a cheap tank.

I always hear people talking about tanks that cost more than $5000 in just equipment, but then they have to add the price of the tank plus fish and corals, and I thought my tank was cheap compared to thoses lol

Good morning Keith. I think you need to incorporate the my motto that has gotten me through 58 years, “ why do today what you can put off until tomorrow.” 😉
I have a very similar motto, mine is: 'Why put off till tomorrow that which you can put off till the day after'

If I don't watch out,, I'll have atank full of it. I resist that yellow

Man, did you get a video of that?

I like the contrast that yellows and oranges (not the fruit Kevin) add to a reef

It looks radioactive! That's awesome

That’s way better than mine and will probably add an extra 5 years to your life!

I bought 5 micro brittle stars and now have probably 2.3 million it seems. Like you said, all I see are their little legs poking out searching for food.
I got some with one of my shipments but never see any arms. I wonder if my butterfly fish got them before they got into the rocks.
