Thats not robots, In the video below, its starts out in stamping shop, then goes to welding shop, I work in the welding shop where the body is put together, then it moves on to paint shop and then general assembly

Yes, it runs but thinking it would make a nice display to hang on the wall at my cabin on the lake. Weighs maybe 20lbs. A 16” 2x8 would be plenty (prob. 2x6) but any ideas for the bracket? Was thinking wrought iron I-beam like brackets turned sideways and mount the board to that? Needs to be about 8” off the wall.

Ya, I read on the interweb thing that CT is a rehearsal and in 5-10 years when mankind is wiped out they will be in every store in the world. It has to be true because I also read on the interweb a quote from one of our former presidents, Honest Abe Lincoln that stated “” If it is on the interweb it is true” and he has honest in his name.

I skipped the lake, it was too hot for my mother. So I whipped together dinner. I would have had her over yesterday but I was beat from Friday and had a lot to do. Aquariums don’t water change themselves, ditto with laundry and lawn mowing. This could have been me.

Here is an older video of Kia, they list robot count at 240 in the weld shop , its over 300 now due to building 5 models now. same holds true I work on the machinery in the weld shop, been there over 15 years.

I saw them down here on the Mississippi Gulf coast. Could you imagine? Obviously that's something we don't see often.

We actually had them here this winter. They weren't too impressive though, unless you looked them with your phone camera

One of my good friends from high school and college is a welding engineer. He works for a German company in PA that makes large scale mining equipment. He programs the welding robots for the assembly line. My wife and I and another couple head to his place every summer, the guys fish and the ladies float on inflatables. Huge and plentiful large mouth bass. I look forward to it every summer.

Haven't seen any yet, but we are in Denali and the river (Savage) is quite high. Will report back! Plenty of places serving salmon, though!
