Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
70% Hydration Poolish - 7 dough balls

Caputo flour
800g flour
800g cold water
2.5g yeast

Day 1
Mix flour and yeast. Slowly add cold water and mix for 10 minutes.
Cover with Saran Wrap and let sit at room temp for 60 minutes. Then place in fridge for 18-24 hours.

Day 2
Remove from fridge and let sit for 60 minutes to get to room temp.
Place 360g flour directly on counter and add 30g sea salt (2 Tblsp). Mix together. Then pour poolish on top of flour and mix flour into top of wet dough for 20 minutes until all flour is mixed in.
Then mix/knead until it becomes strong and balled. Then add a few drops of olive oil to poolish and place dough back in same bowl. Cover with Saran Wrap and let rest for 60 minutes.
On lightly floured surface, keep top of dough on top and cut into 270g balls. Form balls keeping top always on top and place into dough box. Refrigerate for 6 hours or use with 24 hours.

Freezer
After the 6 hours fridge time, place dough box in freezer to freeze balls for later.
What does the higher water content do? I obviously don't bake much if that shows

allows for higher temp ovens. the dough you buy in the supermarket is meant for 400-500 degree ovens. 70% is better for for 900 degree. thats why it takes 20+ minutes to cook a pizza in a normal oven. flask cooking at 900 degrees takes 1-2 minutes. and yes, you can taste the difference.

Morning all! Sorry, long night and my phone died. Didn't make it into work till like 10:30 ,this morning. Was there fairly late, they wanted to monitor his temperature. I geuss it wasn't the actual temp as much as how quickly it climbed to 104.7 that bothered them? They wanted to make sure the tylenol/ibuprofen regime would keep things down. We got him onto a every 4hr regimen and it maintained his temp at a low grade fever (99-100) for most the night. This morning he hasn't had anything since 5am and his fever hasnt returned! I geuss the low/no fever all day to 104.7 almost instantly concerned them most. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers guys!

Good deal Mike. You jumped right on it and didnt play around. I hope his improvement continues bud.

We might have been overly concerned as is.. only been parents a year and a half sl far so a sobbing miserable baby with a 104.7° fever got us worked up pretty quick. We gave him a dose of Tylenol and by the time we got to the ER his fever was starting to drop and by the time we came up with a plan the tylenol was doing a decent job. He was already sleeping with mom and his next dose of ibuprofen wasn't far away so they had us stay to monitor until that dose, and since his fever stayed down, we were good to go.
We're the only advocates these kids have brother. Yall 10000% did the right thing.

Now she wants you to scratch her belly!
When we first got her she would not eat or drink unless we hand fed her on our lap on the couch. We got past that eventually but she still will not go drink on her own usually. it's hit or miss. She was a rescue at about a year old. No idea what happened to her. but she really has the Cush life now.

I'm currently working from home so I'm sitting outside on my back porch making water with my laptop in my lap.

It's actually not too bad in the shade right now which is surprising.
Are we Skipping out on the coworker bed party today?
