It snowed for about a half hour in the early afternoon one Saturday in January 1998. Some even stuck on the ground but it was gone by the time we came out of the store. It also hailed twice that I can remember. I blame climate change.

We had most of our fleet have hail damage about 10 years ago.

My ato ran dry so my salinity might have been high. My nutrients have been a little high but there hasn't been any swings but maybe that was it? Gonna do some testing when I get home I suppose

Kev, how did you harvest your tea leaves? did you dry them first?

hmmm...are you dippng them ?

I havent dipped the ones from cultivated reef (more than half my corals) as i've seen their systems and all their corals are long term corals. They have next to no imports and are supposedly pest free. Obviously theres no guarantee but i'm pretty confident based on the fact they dont purchase many corals, they just jave a lot of long term colonies and i've had undipped corals from them for over 6 months with zero signs of pests.. Everywhere else i get corals from, I dip with coral rx pretty aggressively.

Im getting ready to clean my mixing barrel, start some water for a water change tomorrow and test my parameters. Im wondering if that heater issue last week nuked all the feather dusters and Fauna in my sump, and maybe my nutrients skyrocketed?

how big is your ato reservoir? Summer is so much more forgiving than winter. summer is ~1/2 gal a day and winter is ~1 gal a day. Fog is so heavy today you can feel the mist.

Way oversized haha. Its a old 55g that I had sitting around. Usually fill it half way or so but got so distracted with a bunch of stuff going on i forgot to check it. Its half filled now and i'm slowly topping the system back off. I got 2 acros that are about dead now...

any fish additions that you poured in some go the tank water from there?

Not really. That said they go in wet. I put in my CBB last weekend. I always (besides my foxface) use my hand vs a net though and luck them right out and set in the tank.
