What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
My 24K gold, ultra, rainbow, fairy fart gsp.
You, sir, are a lucky man! Those are notoriously difficult to find a match for.

You, sir, are a lucky man! Those are notoriously difficult to find a match for.
Yes sir, they are only found on a six mile reef off an uncharted island. It was once inhabited because the collector found a boat named the Minnow on the beach with a hull breach. They are notoriously slow growers and very difficult to frag.

It's so hard to say Mike. I dont see high nutrients killing them overnight. This is the hard part. I still dont know why all my fish died. I hate it for you man.
yep just checked my levels from being away for a awhile..they are really high and everything is good but I was never at an acceptable level...nitrate and Phosphate always high no matter what, ..Guess next tank I need to redesign sum and add a algae ractor, last thing I have not tried... etc.

Hey Mike. Hopefully the day got a little better you. Did it all settle down in the tank?
Yea, my one acros a goner, didnt even get a chance to frag anything by the time I got back. Still a little bit on it. But i'm not gonna bother. Its a cheaper coral at cultivated reef right down the road... if i want another I'll try another chunk. My nutrients are a touch high but nothing glaringly obvious

Great jams last night and today Joel! Great to see you this morning. Today is my oldest son's 9th birthday. We're taking him to our local AAA baseball team's game today. Ill send you some pics of the field.
Can't wait!
Happy birthday to your son 💙

Good evening Mike, sorry about your acro.
Appreciate it kev. Just hit pretty hard as it was my first acro death, and my first acro to actually encrust and put out a couple branches. I'll get over it eventually!

Well, it has to be comforting to know you can get a replacement just down the street at your lfs.

Yea, what's not comforting though, is it got 5 more acros coming Thursday with at least 2 being higher end acros. 🤦‍♂️ 😂 i've had some reassurances though that my heater fiasco last week is probably the culprit so these new corals dont have too many excuses to die yet! 😂
