Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
OK, I looked it up. Yes, they want rock and it says you can't over light them. Even says found in shallow reefs and can take all kinds of flow. So I just moved it to the top rock in the cross flow before it wants to attach. So it's an experiment but not a huge loss if it doesn't hold at $100. And can easily move the top rock rather than the one near the bottom.

I still need higher par on it though lol. Apparently clams can take as much par as you can throw at them, as long as you work up to it!
See? You and Paul have to teach me to clam!! Im going to catch up and hopefully Paul has posted some more pics. (Im going to ask him for his lobo).

it's just set there. fit right in the groove. the leather was attached to a rock. so if it's happy where it is I don't need to do much and can secure it a bit more. both these are not directly under the light but they get a piece of it. so they are in light flow too. The clam has been moving from where I placed it already. so not cure where he wants to be yet. but obviously it's not directly under the light which is 29" below the light. But they don't show well under blue light. but it is reacting to shadows which is a good sign it's healthy. Says photosynthetic but I thought that wasn't till they are like 4"???
Do we have a clam expert on the Smorgasbord? Everything you're saying makes sense, but im curious to hear what someone who's had one has experienced.

How in the world did you let such an atrocity happen!
You guys are going to disown me, but I dont remember the last cup of coffee I had. It just doesn't set well with my stomach issues. I love coffee flavored stuff though.

My youngest son got home and I had him take a picture of the new corals under white and at the same angles. Wow wow wow enjoy the eye candy @tharbin !!!
