These guys are really taking over in this tank.
Survivors from the little tank...

They are the only thing that suffocates aiptasia as far as I can tell but I'm pretty sure there was aiptasia around these a few days ago...
Guess we'll find out...

Hi John!
Nope.
When I came home yesterday the jar was empty but as I was pulling it, one was stuck on the rim so I eased it off and away it crawled.
I'm crossing my fingers my friend but I'm not optimistic.
Sounds good to me actually. That means they survived the acclimation process. After the trip and being dumped directly into their only food source, Im hopefully.
I saw something interesting in my tank today. I got the same giant berghia you have. Well all my visible aiptasia disappeared and right about that time, I began to see babies. And I still see very small babies. But today I saw a mid-size juvenile! What this tells me is the first run hatched and some of those made juvenile size while the first batch had even more babies.
It's the only explanation to having new babies and mid-sized juveniles that I can think of. All sounds good to me Joel. Let's just see buddy.

AC/DC is one of my all time favorite bands.
The early stuff with Bon Scott.
Thanks for opening the floodgates #1...
Definitely! Bon Scott was a Genius.

These dendros that @VintageReefer put me on have transformed my tank. They were that one unusual thing that I needed. It helped me feel good about the tank again after the fish loss.

I am really really liking this!

In honor of international cat day which according to my computer is today here is a picture of our kitty. Her name is Mamá Kitty because when she showed up a few years ago she had 5 kittens with her. We found homes for them and got her spayed she is more like a dog than a cat with the way she follows us around the yard.

Good morning Kev, What will the Cooking with Kevin episode delight us with today?
Hmmmm, I’m thinking about French onion soup and cooking some protein in a way I have not done before. Stay tuned Luis.
