I almost bought a 1987 Buick Regal Wagon converted to a Grand National back in 2006 or there about. The only reason I didn't is because it was a friend of my Father-in-law's and my Father-in-law told him he wasn't allowed to sell it to me... Something about a turboed station wagon wrapped around a light pole with his daughter and hopefully-soon-grandchildren inside...

Okay here we go...
I played soccer until varsity senior year and beyond.
Never sat, played every minute of every game, championships included.
Too small for football, American style but played until I couldn't anymore.
I'm going to say that I rather get hit full on it football with my pads on than beaten up in soccer, plain, no pads.
Soccer is a brutal sport.

I played from around 5 or 6 until freshman year. My best friend and I were on every team together. I made the JV team, he got cut. I told the coach I wasn't playing if Will wasn't in the team. He apologized and said Will wasn't good enough for JV. I politely said "Thank you for the opportunity."

Yeah, wouldn't that be a turbo charged V6? Those were insanely quick, zippy builds.

My in-laws lived next door to the president of the Arizona Grand National Association. My Father-in-law, being a transmission mechanic, worked on a LOT of the local GNs and got to be on the pit crew at plenty of races around.
