I did not know that clown gobies are jumpers. Nothing I read in my research said they were. I have a glass lid on it but it doesn't cover it completely. Found my little guy in the floor this morning. Not sure how to make it more secure since I have an HOB that requires an opening and it's a rimless tank.

So sorry Amanda! I know your husband is handy, perhap you could purchase one of those diy tank cover mesh kits and he could make it so it covered 100%.

Tripe.. ive never been able to bring myself to try that.
How did they turn out with bacon fat? Man, those with a side of rotkohl... now we are talking! The family loves it when i make rotkohl, the whole house smells lovely and they all like the taste. Found the best recipe too if any of you have an inkling to try it. Takes a full afternoon simmer, so it is usually a sunday dish with a pot roast and some potatoes n carrots.

I never add the juniper berries and sometimes forget to add the jam...

I really appreciate this! Ive always wanted to try rotkohl! I ll let you know how it turns out my friend. It was really good with the bacon, but next time I might slice some pork belly to avoid the smomy flavor, but honestly I loved the dish.

I can make one I think with egg crate light cover and wrap it in window screen. I just liked the idea of the glass lid because it helped with evaporation which is silly because it has an ATO on it so I guess I shouldn't worry about evaporation so much. I am going to try later today if I still have some egg crate stuff. Right now I'm helping my husband and son working on the barn which means I'm mostly a go-fer...

what light are you using for your mangroves?

Ebay 6000K daylight led.
I was using a 5K daylight home depot bulb in a clamp light but they got too tall.

petco had/has one but it was really small and skinny tentacles. I'm waiting it out for one of the colorful ones from corals anon.
