Happy Friday, everyone!
To give without any reward or any notice has a special quality of its own. Anne Morrow Lindbergh
A common thing I see a lot of people do is give to some organization or maybe an individual in hopes they will reap some reward/recognition. But is that truly the spirit of giving? Shouldn't our mindset be to give without any reward/recognition? By simply giving your time, finances or any other way you want to give without receiving something in return, you are benefiting that individual/group and yourself. So as we go through the weekend, look for ways to give. Don't expect anything in return, but do it because you want to make a difference in someone's life.
This is Sabaton. Generally gets regarded as power metal, but from the lead singer, "we are just guys who like making metal." What sets them apart from other bands, and what makes them unique, is that every song they make is based on real events that happened in history. Not only are you getting some well-rounded songs, but you are also getting a history lesson. Two albums they made were purely about WW1, and one of their albums was about the history of Sweden. Yes, there music can start sounding samey if you listen to them enough, but they are a fun band to go back to from time to time.
